CARSON CITY, Nev. - Former Democratic Rep. Dina Titus says she didn't agree often with Republican Dean Heller when they served
together in the U.S. House.
But both Titus and Heller voted against the Small Business Jobs Act in 2010.
Titus says she opposed the legislation because she thought the Small Business Administration, instead of banks, should have administered the stimulus funding.
Heller voted against it because he felt it was a bank bailout.
Titus spoke Monday on the television program Nevada Newsmakers.
Titus was elected to represent Nevada's 3rd Congressional District in 2008, but was defeated after one term by Republican Joe Heck.
She is running this year in the 1st District, a heavily Democratic district being vacated by Shelley Berkley.
Berkley is challenging Heller for the U.S. Senate.
