The addition of Jones would bring an influx of youth and talent into an aging group of linebackers in Pittsburgh.
The Pittsburgh Steelers fell just short of the playoffs this past season. While there is still plenty of talent on the roster, the Steelers could really benefit from a strong showing at the 2013 NFL Draft.

There are a couple of areas Pittsburgh could address with their first-round pick. Armed with the No. 17 overall selection, a linebacker or defensive end would make a lot of sense for coach Mike Tomlin and the organization. According to the latest mock draft from Dane Brugler of CBS Sports, the Steelers will take Georgia linebacker Jarvis Jones in the first round.
Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia: Pass rusher James Harrison will soon turn 35 years old and his best playing days are behind him. With the Steelers looking to add a pass rusher at some point in this draft, they might not be able to pass on Jones, who could slip a little bit due to some long-term durability issues.
Jones, a junior this past season, earned an All-SEC selection after dominating conference play. He recorded 85 tackles, 14.5 sacks and picked off a pass.
As the blurb above referred to, the only real question with Jones is whether or not he'll be able to avoid the injury bug at the next level. He was seemingly questionable each week for UGA, and the grind of a 16-game season really takes its toll on the body.
