Sultry-voiced songstress Lana Del Rey was announced as the new face of Jaguar this autumn to promote their brand new two-seater sports car, the Jaguar F-TYPE on Wednesday (August 22, 2012). The "Video Games" singer signed a six-figure deal with the British luxury car manufacturer to launch their amazing F-Type. Lana, who would help unveil the new car in Paris, would appear in the fall campaign that hit TV screens and billboards in September. However, photos of the ?Born to die? singer in the ad campaign have been released recently. Posing in a swimming pool, controversial indie music darling Lana Del Rey looked great in a plunging white swimsuit which she combined with a floppy straw hat and gold bracelets. It seems that the brand wanted to focus on the luxury lifestyle that the owners of a Jag would have as the songstress was very much the focus of the ads and the car was nowhere to be found in the pics.

In the ad campaign, the singer looks gorgeous with her voluptuous lips which are rumoured to be under plastic surgery. ?They're real lips, I mean. In real life my lips don't look that big,? Lana Del Rey defends her puffy pout. ?I think because I cartoonized the footage of myself in the video for 'Video Games' things look exaggerated.?
After releasing her album ?Born to Die? in January, singer-songwriter Lana seemed to spend most of her time working her signature lip pout into a modelling career. Apart from being the face of Jaguar, the gorgeous star was lined up as the face of Swedish clothing retailer H&M. Photographs by famed fashion photographers Vinoodh Matadin and Inez van Lamsweerde from the fall 2012 campaign featuring Lana Del Rey were unveiled earlier this month. The ?National Anthem? songstress also posed for Vogue Italia and scored a huge sartorial score in posing for the cover of Vogue UK before collaborating with H&M.
